LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said that the terrorism was under control during his tenure, adding that it is rearing its heads again in the country.
“The current circumstances in the country are not satisfactory,” said Nawaz.
Reiterating his displeasure with the Supreme Court’s Panama Case verdict, he said that the country was moving towards instability after the July 28 decision.
“Such decisions became the reasons of anarchy in the country,” he went on to say.
Commenting on the current economic condition, he said that the stock exchange, which was hovering around 54,000 points during his tenure, now dropped down to around 37,000 points.
Nawaz had left for London after being exempted for appearing before the court to attend the hearings of the corruption references filed against him in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
