ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has announced to remove party members who sold their votes during the recently held Senate elections.
During a media talk today, Imran said the party would constitute a legal team over the violation of its code of conduct during the Senate polls.
While referring to the alleged horse-trading by few members of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa assembly, he said that all those MPAs who sold their vote would be thrown out from the party.
The PTI chief also announced his support for the dissidents of the ruling Pakistan Mulsim League-Nawaz (PML-N) who are demanding a separate province in South Punjab.
Imran also raised objections on the government’s intention of introducing next year’s federal budget just before the end of its tenure. “The government’s tenure is about to end and it is presenting next year’s budget,” he complained while announcing that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak will not present the province’s budget.
The PTI chief further said the nation was happy with the top court holding the powerful elite accountable.
