KARACHI: Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) AD Khowaja on Wednesday took notice of a news published in a section of media about open sale of fireworks within the limits of different police stations in Karachi.
The IGP directed Karachi Additional Inspector General (IG) to probe the matter in the light of the published news and furnished a detailed report after completion of inquiry from zonal IGs.
According to Sindh police spokesperson, IGP instructed for impartial inquiry from relevant SSPs. He also directed that action should be taken against those running this business on special occasions.
