Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan is scheduled on Sunday to start the election campaign from his home constituency Mianwali.
Imran, who will be contesting 2018 elections from four different constituencies including Mianwali’s NA-95, will be addressing a party rally today.
On the other hand, PML-N leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi who is fielded by the party to contest election from Murree NA-57 will start election campaign from his home constituency Murree today.
Abbasi will kick-start his election campaign with a rally in Kallar Syedan.
Another political party Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), a coalition of religious parties, will conduct a rally in Peshawar today.
The MMA’s central leadership plans to address the rally at Ring Road.
Similarly, Awami National Party will hold a rally in Peshawar’s Badhaber area.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is scheduled to officially launch its election campaign on June 25 from Karachi.
The party’s president Shehbaz Sharif plans to visit the metropolis for two days. He has planned to address the party rally and to visit different constituencies.
