Lahore: Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that he has always remained steadfast in the face of dictatorship.
Nawaz, who returned from London on Monday, said that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) has always held institutions in high esteem. He also said that he returned to face the references filed against him by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) following Supreme Court’s (SC) order in its July 28 verdict.
He further said that although he had to face great difficulty during his decade long exile with his family following the military takeover in 1999, he never bowed down before dictator.
Senior members of PML-N also accompanied Nawaz during his press conference.
