SHIKARPUR: Shikarpur police started conducting raids to arrest those who are involved in community disputes and during raids arrested many suspects of the Brohi, Marfani and Kakepota communities, in the limits of Garhi Yasin Police Station, on Tuesday.
According to an official a special police party headed by DSP Garhi Yasin Ghulam Abbas Gadhi and PSO SSP Shikarpur Ali Baig Bijarani conducted search operation at various villages of Brohi, Kakepota and Marfani communities and arrested many suspects from there.
An official further informed that Brohi, Marfani and Kakepota communities are involved in murdering their rivals.
Separately, SHO New Faujdari Police Station Mumtaz Murwat recovered three motorcycles in different raids which were handed over to their owners including Mushtaque Ahmed Buriro, Sadam Hussain Pathan and Azhar Ahmed Shaikh at SSP Office Shikarpur here on Tuesday.
On the occasion, SSP Shikarpur Zeeshan Siddiqui told the media that no one would be allowed to take the law into their own hands while anti social elements would be taken to task in the larger interest of the people of Shikarpur.
Nasim Bukhari, the spokesperson of SSP Shikarpur was also present on the occasion.
